Applications are invited for the following assignment in a
purely time-bound research project undertaken in the Department of Mathematics
of the Institute:
1. Name of the Post : Project Assistant (JRF)
2. Number of Posts: 1 (One)
3. Name of the Research Project: Approximation in Banach spaces and Mazur’s intersection property.
4. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board, Dept. of Science and Technology.
5. Duration of the Project: 01 Year (Subsequent extension based on performance).
6. Consolidated monthly compensation: Rs.16, 000 – 18,000 per month.
7. Essential Qualifications and experience: M.Sc (Mathematical Science) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
8. Age: Candidates should not be more than 28 years.
